When parents and teachers are on "different pages" about what is best for children, the youngsters will usually suffer, experiencing confusion, tension, anger or sadness. Children may even begin to rebel against the expectations and guidelines of adults as a result.  Therefore, it is essential that teachers reach out to parents, seeking to form positive and cooperative working relationships in caring for children. This session discusses strategies supporting such relationships.
